About My Work

Hi! I’m Jill Ursem, a communications and media student at Oglethorpe University who loves helping organizations share meaningful stories. I have experience across visual content creation, brand development, writing, and strategic communication, and I enjoy working on projects where creativity and clear messaging come together.

My background includes photography, videography, social media content, campaign strategy, writing, and collaborative client work. I’m passionate about producing work that is both visually engaging and intentional, whether I’m developing content, shaping messaging, or supporting a larger communication strategy. I approach every project with curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to understand the audience. I enjoy fast-paced, collaborative environments and love seeing ideas come to life through thoughtful communication and design.

I capture authentic, dynamic visuals—from sports and events to portraits and branded content. I enjoy the full creative process, from shooting to editing, and focus on producing imagery that enhances storytelling and supports a strong brand identity.

Writing, Public Relations & Brand Messaging

I write clear, intentional communications including press releases, campaign messaging, captions, and professional copy. I tailor tone and structure for the audience, ensuring every piece aligns with the organization’s goals and overall brand voice.
